Last tickets available at the door

The last tickets for Isla Electronica will be sold at the door of the event on Saturday 17 April. These tickets will be available at a special Last Minute Ticket Booth at the entrance to the event in the port of IJmuiden.

About Isla Electronica
Isla Electronica will transform the uninhabited Fort Island in the middle of the North Sea Canal into a true dancer’s paradise. There will be three different areas (Outside, Inside and The Mad Disco Trench) to explore. An exceptionally strong line-up including UK super-star John Digweed and the world’s greenest DJ Dr. Lektroluv will take a stand behind the decks. The event will start at 16.00 hours and continue non-stop until 05.00 hours the following morning. The weather experts at the KNMI expect Saturday to be a dry and sunny day.

Last Minute Ticket Booth
Visitors will be brought to the Fort Island with the luxurious party ship Ocean Diva which can be boarded in IJmuiden on the Volendamkade, part of the Zeehavenweg. The Last Minute Ticket Booth can be found there as well.

A select number of tickets have been reserved for sale at the door. These tickets will cost €45,-.

Forgeries
Do not buy tickets from dealers, as there are false tickets in circulation.UDC has a strong suspicion that counterfeit tickets for Isla Electronica are in circulation. The sun has returned after a dark, long and cold winter. Summer is coming and with it another season filled with crazy dance festival, parties and events. Let’s celebrate this with Isla Electronica, an exquisite dance event on the Fort Island, an uninhabited and mystical place in the middle of the North Sea Canal.

Boosting three different areas, Isla Electronica offers the best in techno, electro and minimal both in- and outdoor. We will start at 16.00 hours in the afternoon and continue nonstop until 05.00 hours the following morning. So it’s also a combination of day- and nighttime event.

Add to that one crazy line-up spearheaded by dance-heavyweights John Digweed and Dr. Lektroluv and you have all the ingredients for a great dance event.

Transport
Transport to and from the Fort Island will be handled by the luxury party ship Ocean Diva, a trip onto itself. You can board the Ocean Diva in the harbor of IJmuiden.

The organization encourages visitors to use their own transport. There are no shuttle busses. When the event ends at 05.00 there won’t be any public transportation available. However, there will be more than enough parking spaces available in the harbor of IJmuiden for all visitors.

There will also be a special Kiss & Ride spot for dropping off and picking up visitors. A dedicated taxi place will also be available.

UDC’S NEW DANCE EVENT AT THE FORT ISLAND NEAR THE COAST OF IJMUIDEN.

AMSTERDAM, Wednesday 20 January: Isla Electronica, UDC’s brand new dance event, will introduce itself to the public on Saturday 17 April 2010. Isla Electronica brings a mix of electro, minimal and techno on a very special location: the Fort Island near the coast of IJmuiden, in the middle of the North Sea Canal.

Imagine; you are boarding the luxurious ship Ocean Diva in the harbor of IJmuiden with a select group of like minded people. While the sun is setting, the silhouette of an island is getting clear on the horizon. Once you’ve reached your destination, the Fort Island reveals itself as a wonderful combination of old industrial bunkers and beautiful nature that is almost ready for summer. An island filled with only true party people, sharing a wonderful feeling of togetherness and dancing the night away under a wonderful star-filled sky.

Isla Electronica, an event for the true dance enthusiast, presents three different area’s featuring a carefully selected mix of electro, minimal and techno. Because of the size of the island and the exclusivity of this event only 3.000 tickets will be available.
