Upgrade your Isla Electronica e-ticket to a VIP package including a meet and greet with one of the headliners!

UDC has decided to upgrade two of the 3.000 tickets available for Isla Electronica to a VIP package. If you are one of the two lucky ones you’re in for a very exciting experience.

The VIP package contains:

- A one night stay for two persons in the luxurious Holiday Inn IJmuiden Seaport Beach Hotel including breakfast and a late check-out.
- Access to the event through a special entrance where someone from the organization will welcome you.
- A good stash of tokens which you can use to drink and eat during the event.
- A meet and greet with one of the headliners of Isla Electronica. The name of the headliner will be announced soon.

What do you need to do to win one of these two VIP packages?
Simple, just buy your e-ticket before Thursday the 25th of March ( via Paylogic ) at www.islaelectronica.nl and you will automatically participate. If you’ve already bought your e-ticket, you’re already in the competition. The two winners get to bring a friend to the party as well, because Isla Electronica deserves to be enjoyed with a close friend.

UDC will announce the two winners on Monday the 29th of March 2010 on this website. Here you’ll find the codes of the two winning e-tickets. You can find your code on the e-ticket near the barcode and it contains twelve digids. If you are the owner of one of the winning

TRANSPORT TO THE ISLAND
During the entire event. the luxurious ship Ocean Diva will go back and forth between the Fort Island and the harbor of IJmuiden. This will be the only way to reach the island. Your ticket for the event will also give you access on board the Ocean Diva.

WEATHER & LOCKERS
This event is both indoor and outdoor so weather wise were prepared for pretty much anything. Remember to bring something warm, when the event closes at 05.00 hours in the morning it could be rather chilly.

Enough lockers will be available on site to store your coats and other valuables.

FOOD & DRINK
You can order food and drink all night long. You can pay with special tokens available for purchase on the island. You can also pay for your tokens with a pin or local ATM card.

WHAT IS & ISN’T ALLOWED INSIDE
To make sure everybody can enjoy the event in a safe manner, there will be a mandatory body search at the entrance. As for drugs, there will be a strict no tolerance policy. Both hard- and soft drugs will not be allowed.

Weapons or objects that could be used as a weapon will not be allowed inside.

You can bring your camera. However, professional photo camera’s or video camera’s will not be allowed.

Isla Electronica is a dance event located on an uninhabited island in the middle of the North Sea Canal. Please read the following information carefully so you know how you will be able to get onto the island and back home again.

EMBARKATION POINT
The point of embarkation will be the Volendamkade, located on the Zeehavenweg, IJmuiden. This is a short walk from the parking-spots.

CAR
We strongly advise visitors to come by car. There are enough parking places at the embarkation point of the shuttle boat.

Route:
On the A22 take the exit IJmuiden (N202). From here, follow the signs P-Forteiland. These will guide you toward the parking area next to the shuttle boat. Please follow any instructions from parking stewards and/or traffic controllers.

Parking:
It will cost you €10 to park your car. If you have a €10 bill ready parking will be quicker and easier. The point of embarkation is of walking distance from the parking spaces.

KISS & RIDE
If someone is dropping you off, let the driver follow the special “Kiss & Ride’ signs. Take note: there is no place to park here! Just a place to get out and wave goodbye.

TOURING BUS
If you have arranged your own coach or touring car, please follow the instructions of the traffic coordinators.

Isla Electronica, UDC’s brand new dance event, will introduce itself to the public on Saturday 17 April 2010. Isla Electronica brings a soulful mix of electro, minimal and techno on a very special location: the Fort Island near the coast of IJmuiden, in the middle of the North Sea Canal.

Imagine; with a select group of like minded people you are boarding the luxurious ship Ocean Diva in the harbor of IJmuiden. While the sun is setting, the silhouette of an island is getting clear on the horizon. Once you’ve reached your destination, the Fort Island reveals itself as a wonderful combination of old industrial bunkers and beautiful nature that is almost ready for summer. An island filled with only true party people, sharing a wonderful feeling of togetherness and dancing the night away under a wonderful star-filled sky.
